 Great Jobs for Introverts

Not everyone is built to be the life of the party and the constant center of attention. But introverts do have some distinct advantages. For instance, if you’re an introvert, you are independent, low-maintenance, shrewd, creative and a great listener with a unique ability to focus on the task at hand.

Those qualities can make introverts excellent workers, but only if they are in the right jobs and given the space they need to reflect and work in private. If you lean toward introversion, here are 15 potential jobs for you.

1. Craft and fine artist

Consider becoming a craft and fine artist if you have a creative eye and artistic talent. You can make pottery, glassware, textiles and more and earn a profit while doing so. This industry is good for independent, imaginative individuals who are willing to share their craft.

2. Photographer

Introverts often view the world differently from others. Their unique perspective can make for great photography, allowing others to see things from all angles. As a photographer, you can work independently or for a larger corporation – e.g., as a freelance photographer or real estate photojournalist.

3. Author

Introverts tend to crave solitude and quiet, meaning they seek opportunities to be alone with their thoughts. This bodes well for authors, whose imaginations are their gateways to success. Channel those thoughts to create a unique story that you can either publish traditionally (through an agent and/or publisher) or self-publish.

4. Motorcycle mechanic

If you’ve ever read Pirsig’s Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, you know the peace of mind that can overcome you when you set your mind to such a task. It’s particularly appealing if you like working with your hands. And you could potentially just open up your own shop if finding work proves difficult. Mechanics and technicians usually need to complete a program at a postsecondary school, but that doesn’t necessarily mean college. Once hired, you’ll likely be required to acquire an industry certification.

Never think of the future, and never be entangled with the past.

THE FIRST and the most important thing to remember is: never think of the future, and never be entangled with the past. While I am here, enjoy me. While I am here, don't miss this opportunity.

This is mind playing games. You are not enjoying me. You are not delighted - you are creating a worry for yourself. Now the worry is about the future - who are you to be worried about the future? And how can you manage to control it? - - there is no way. The future will take its own course. We cannot manage the future in a certain way, that it should be so or should not be so. All efforts have always failed.
There is no way to manage it. The only way is to use the present, and leave the future for the future. There will be people; we will not be here - what they are going to do with my words, it is their freedom. If they want to make chains out of them, that is their freedom. If they want to be liberated by these words, that is their freedom. If they want to make a prison out of the temple that we are creating, then it is their freedom! and it is their choice.

Osho The Discipline of Transcendence Volume 3

Difference between perfection and totality.

And there is a tremendous difference between perfection and totality. Perfection is a goal somewhere in the future, totality is an experience herenow. Totality is not a goal, it is a style of life. If you can get into any act with your whole heart, you are total. And totality brings wholeness and totality brings health and totality brings sanity.

the mind is your mathematics

Question : I’m a sort of a
sentimental person.
The mind says one
thing and heart says
something else. Up to
now I’ve been always
following the heart and am always at a loss !

Answer : One has to be very very alert about one
thing: there are things
in which the heart will
be a failure; never listen to the heart about those
things.

There are things in
which the mind will be
a failure; don’t listen to the mind about those things.

And a clear-cut
distinction is needed,
otherwise one goes mad.

For example, if you
are trying to succeed
in the world, don’t
listen to the heart.

In your business don’t
listen to the heart,
just be your mind.

Because the mind is
your mathematics;
the mind simply
means the part that knows how to do big
business – nothing else!

The mind is your
business expert –
listen to it! When you are ill you don’t go and ask an
engineer; you go to the doctor.

If when you are ill you
go to the engineer
and when you want to
make your house you
consult the doctor,
you will go crazy.

That’s what you have
been doing. If you fall
in love with a woman
then don’t listen to
the mind, because
the mind has nothing
to say about it.

It is not a question of
logic or mathematics
– listen to the heart.

If you are reading
poetry, listen to the heart. But when you are doing some calculation don’t bring in your heart.

This is clarity. It is not
a question of being
sentimental or not.
Just clarity is needed
and a clear-cut
division of labour.

The mind is yours, the heart  is yours. Both have their functions and  one has to learn what exactly the function of the heart is;

otherwise you will get
confused and mixed
up. So just see: if something needs
logic, mathematics, the mind is needed. What will the heart do there?

Whenever you get
confused, listen to the
mind. Because confusion
means that the mind
is needed. The heart never gets confused; it simply knows.

Confusion means that
it is in the area of the
mind.

Slowly slowly you will get to the knack. try this: always the first thing to decide is, is this a heart matter or a mind matter?

And in life there are
almost ninety-nine
percent mind matters,
rarely a heart matter.

But that one percent
is more valuable than
the ninety-nine percent.

And if there is a question of whether to save the ninety-nine percent or to save the one percent, I will say 'Save the one percent and lose the ninety-nine percent.’

But ordinarily there is
no question like that.

Use your mind more,
continue to meditate,
and things will become more and more clear.

They are never inventive.

You will be surprised to know that all that you see has been invented by playful people, not by the serious people. The serious people are too much past-oriented — they go on repeating the past, because they know it works. They are never inventive.

Successful entrepreneurs whose ventures began in living rooms and garages

Successful entrepreneurs whose ventures began in living rooms and garages
“In order to accomplish anything in life you must risk failing completely and spectacularly”

The rags-to-riches stories are always the ones that inspire us as humans the most, yet in the shadows of every successful venture is one that failed.

From a poor product offering to investing in the wrong team members, there are countless reasons why 20 per cent of businesses fail in their first year and 60 per cent within the first three years of launching.

While every business founder has their own set of opinions as to what underpins their success, timing paired with a steadfast approach are often underrated factors to take into account.

If you’ve ever caught yourself thinking that because you don’t have financial resources or a suitable office your corporate days will likely last a lifetime, think again. Many of the world’s strongest trailblazers began their ventures in derelict garages that did not match their founder’s grander vision and ambition.

Let these stories be a reminder of the value in resourcefulness and purpose when considering any business venture.๐Ÿ‘‡

๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿฆฑ The Fat Lady Story

๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿฆฑ The Fat Lady Story:
Story of guy who met a very healthy woman in flight.

Squeezing herself into the seat she smiled and said, “Hi, how are you? Not in mood to talk to any stranger he ignored.
Women repeated her greeting in friendly voice, leaning toward the guy forcing him to look at her. Guy replied with, “Hi.” with intention of avoiding the further talk.

Guy turned away and stare out of the cabin. Again the woman nudged and said, “My name is Laura. I am from Britain. Where are you from?”
“Malaysia” ,Guy replied rudely.

She continued chat, “Please accept my heartfelt apology. I am sorry. This is gonna be long flight so we should better be friends, Don’t you think?” Ignoring the unfriendly behavior of the guy.

She started to talk about her trip and how excited she was about the trip. Her such liveliness made the guy lower his guards. With passing time he realized that she was charming and made everyone smile around her. During conversation, She managed to make every crew member laugh. She cracked jokes about her size. One of the flight attended came to her and said’ “Thank you, You made my day!”

In between all the fun and talk guy asked woman, “Have you ever thought about losing some weight? Aren’t you worried about disease that come with being over weight?”
She chuckled replied, “Not at all, I am happy the way i am. Why should i waste my time on slimming when i have more important things to do. I am this size because i was born big. Folks often call me big lady, they think I am lazy and have no will power. They are wrong.”

“I am actually a slim person. I am so full of nature that people won’t be able to keep up with me. I know this extra flesh is here to keep me from chasing after men everywhere.” she continued smiling.

Guy asked, “Do men chase after you?”
“Yes, I am happily married and still get proposals all the time. Most of them have relationship problems and for some reasons they like to talk to me. Sometimes I think i should be counselor instead of teacher,” She replied.

Woman’s thoughtful conversations had turned flight into thoroughly enjoyable journey. After reaching airport and bidding goodbye, Guy realized that she was the most beautiful women he ever met in his life.

Moral: We should be confident about ourselves. Heart beauty matter’s much more than Physical beauty.

✅Whether it’s for software updates or just when installing, uninstalling, or updating software, Windows will often ask to reboot. When a computer is running software, it loads much of the program into its memory. If we managed to update that same software on the hard disk or solid state drive (SSD), then the program may panic as everything will be different – it won’t be able to find the files that were there a moment ago.

๐Ÿ“ŒTo prevent this, operating systems usually insist that when major updates are needed, we shut down the software being updated, then restart with the new software installed
